Sophal is a seasoned legal professional with over twelve years of experience specialising in corporate and commercial law, employment law, bankruptcy and insolvency, investigation and compliance, as well as arbitration and dispute resolution.

She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Transnational Law and Business University (TLBU) and dual Bachelor of Laws (LL.Bs) degrees from the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, having completed both Khmer and English language-based programs.

Currently serving as Of Counsel at RHTLaw Cambodia, Sophal brings a wealth of expertise to the firm. Prior to this role, she was an associate, senior consultant, and project manager at two leading advisory firms in Cambodia, where she played a key role in Corporate and Commercial, Employment, Investigation and Compliance, and Dispute Resolution practices.

Notably, Sophal is currently registered arbitrator of the National Commercial Arbitration Center of the Kingdom of Cambodia and an accredited mediator awarded by Accords International (Acln), further solidifying her authority in dispute resolution and mediation.
